What formula does LabCalcPro use?
LabCalcPro uses the standard dilution equation C1V1 = C2V2 to calculate volumes. When a single dilution step would require a volume below your pipette's minimum, the app automatically plans a 2-stage serial dilution.
How do I configure my pipettes?
In the app settings, you can configure which pipettes your lab uses (P20, P200, P1000, etc.). Volumes in your protocols will be rounded to match your pipettes' actual resolution.
What units are supported?
LabCalcPro supports common concentration units used in laboratory solution preparation, including molarity (M, mM, µM, nM), mass/volume (mg/mL, µg/mL), and percentage (% w/v, % v/v).
Is my data backed up?
LabCalcPro stores all data locally on your device. There is no cloud sync. Your data may be included in iOS device backups depending on your system settings. Reinstalling the app may remove saved data.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. LabCalcPro is fully offline. All calculations are performed locally on your device. No internet connection is needed for any feature.
